OAK RIDGE CEMETERY
Oak Ridge Cemetery, the final
resting place of Abraham Lincoln
and many other Springfield,
Illinois, citizens, encompasses
300 acres with 12 miles of
winding roads. It is the second
most visited cemetery in
America, exceeded only by
Arlington National Cemetery.
Through its monuments,
sculptures, and plaques, Oak
Ridge Cemetery reflects historic
and contemporary Springfield
more than any other place in the
community.
